Re: Why isn't anyone from CR/Active transition team working this forum right now???

Sara,

Go to the thread "[
If you cannot get your log, try this, |http://community.active.com/thread/10623?tstart=0]

download all your data from your old CR acct.

send it to RunninAhead.com or running2win.com it seems they can write a better transition code than can active.

Based on user feedback, we've realized that not all the cross-training data was transferred to Active Trainer. We're working on a solution now to make that data available to you. I know this isn't the answer you are looking for, but I wanted to let you know what was going on. We will get you your data.

We did test. I was admitting that we were wrong and our testing didn't pick up something which we realize now. I apologize for that and I know it is frustrating, but all we can do now is fix it and that is what we are doing.

Re: Why isn't anyone from CR/Active transition team working this forum right now???
To echo Sara's point... yes, we did test with a group of CR users. All their data migrated successfully. The issue with the CR logs is that there was a huge amount of free-form data, meaning lot of different scenarios. This made it very hard to account for in our testing. As Sara mentioned, we are currently working on a fix. I just want to reiterate... NO DATA IS LOST. We'll do our best to reconnect the data with the correct owners. Thanks for your patience!

Hey active_cjb:

Did you actually have CR users try to log runs in Active Trainer?

Save your efforts - the CR users will not want to use their data in Active Trainer.

Unless you are working on getting the old CR running log up and running - your efforts are wasted.....

this whole site is like internet of ten years ago. Even attempting to communicate via this forum is clunky and retarded. I have to triple click text editor just to make a response to in this forum. Entering a workout I have to click thru 5 screens and even then what is viewable to me on my daily/weekly workout log is of little utility.

In regard to your log -it is a disaster..it has lots of place to enter tons of data that we dont need. I have not entered one exercise since attempting 3 days ago. I have gone back in thu and seen that I still cant enter custom workouts, my swim pace for all my workouts is erroneous and broken-this log sucks so bad.. Fancy and glimmering with zero functionality....TESTING brahahah. This was tested by pencil pushers not atheletes/ runners or crosstrainers. So angry about this.

You guys didnt do any testing w th former CR users..that is such bs. If you had they would have told you that the log is unusable.

Yea maybe you transferred basic running data over from couple users..but there is no way that you asked them about the functionality of your log...because it SUCKS bad.it is unusable.

Doesnt ActiveTrainer get it ! Offer us the option to use the old coolrunning log -stop the bs!

Is Active actually going to trash the old coolrunning log-how the heck can they do that when it is so valuable.

Please sell it to someone so we can leave ActiveTrainer and go there. .

btw I have been an Active.com paying member for years-man have you guys botched this.

You are fuggin stubborn too -not one system admin has acknowledged what a disaster this is and given us a response about allowing us to have the option to use the old easily customizable powerfull CR log- no one. You need to offer the coolrunning log.

You do understand that the software is too good to just trash dont you????
