To "Active" Sara, from everyone here who is unhappy.
I understand you've been asked to try to help people with the poorly-designed new format of everything around here. However, to cut-and-paste the same answer to everyone in which to insult their intelligence by suggesing that "new things take some time to get used to", and all that naive, politically-correct BS is ingratiating and ridiculous.
No one likes the format. We all understand the concept of learning curves and finding our way around new websites - after all, we figured out the original cool running site and stuck with it. We are grownups who can accept life's little challenges, Sara.
I don't want to come down on you too hard, but again - to suggest that "moving to something new from something familiar is going to cause some discomfort" is, in this case, like saying it takes time to get used to moving from a finely-tuned car to one with flat tires and a manual written in another language. You are missing the point.
We UNDERSTAND the concept of "a new website". The problem is that this new website is badly designed, overly confusing, slow, clumsy, and a let-down. Since no one at Active wants to admit this, they sent you to put a spin on the issue and say it's not because of all the above that we hate the site, it's because of a "learning curve". Don't you see how insulting and transparent that is?
I feel badly for your situation. You didn't design this nightmare of a website, but are forced to not be able to say anything bad about it or your company - we all understand this. I hope you now understand us.
