Marshall Marathon in Huntington

Hello everyone. I am new to Cool Running and I am not really a "boomer and beyond". (I am 38) I ran with a guy at the Huntington race this past weekend that says he reads this list a lot. I just wanted to get in touch with him. He made my 2nd marathon memorable as we chatted for the 1st 15 miles and the time seemed to fly by. So Adrian if you happen to read this, give me a shout.
Eric
We are a grouchy and iconoclastic lot. I can't imagine any of us would chat with others during a race. "Adrian" -- sounds like a pseudonym. Are you sure this guy didn't try to trip you or push you off the curb in mile 15?
hmmmm
Econo---well at least you have a good sense of humor. Well, you know he kind of made me look bad by telling me to go ahead with my pace, he was gonna do some 1 minute walking intervals and he ended up passing me near the end ;o I think he was about 1 minute ahead of me at the finish.
See? How does that quote go -- old age & cunning will triumph over youth & vigor every time...something like that. !http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/biggrin.gif|src=http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/biggrin.gif|border=0!
P.S. congrats on the 2nd marathon (you can now say that you "run marathons")!

Say, was that guy dressed in an entirely color-coordinated fashion? Did he have a wry, sardonic grin? Hmmm.....where was Spareribs this weekend, I'm wondering......
crabbily yers,
A
It truly is a small world. Actually this Adrian guy was not evil or grouchy. Maybe he is just a good actor. I am sure conversation was not terribly interesting to anyone else, but it past the time. This sure is a rowdy bunch here
