Food food food! I understand this Cherrie. I got a care-package yesterday. It is full with cake mixes, brownie mixes, blueberry muffin mixes, and...Oreo cookies. **** her! Also, it has frosting...Just in time since Lily's birthday is tomorrow! I can make her a real US cake with Dunkin Hines....I think tomorrow will be a feeding frenzy and I will be more than happy to see the empty package of Oreo's...

Re: A-Weigh We Go Week of December 17 - 22

Hey all!

30 mins for me on the trainer last night while watching The Cutting Edge. It was a good ride. Tonight maybe I'll do some taebo....we'll see.

Michelle - that's neat about the calendar. I made one this year for my mother-in-law using the Snapfish site. It turned out really great, so I hope she likes it. That's wonderful about the care package you got!!

Cherrie - have fun at your work lunch today! I kind of miss having that office cheer. We don't have it here like I remember from the states. On the other hand, it sure is good for my diet!!

" Toe Pick"

Michele

Do you leave the bikes set up all the time in the livingroom?

Why did I think you didn't even have a TV?

SHEESH, finally made it on. Do you guys go to active.com first rather than coolrunning.com? This was tricky.

Well, made it onto the treadmill - 6 degrees yesterday outside so no outdoor running. HOping it does not rain/snow tomorrow

as predicted for around here (Mass)

This site is slow! My keys are sticking.

Best of everything to all. I think of you as I am running and you keep me going!

Re: A-Weigh We Go Week of December 17 - 22

For some reason I couldn't find the thread yesterday! :( But I'm happy to find you now! And even happier to report that I finally went to the gym this morning! It's my brand new gym (i'm doing a 2 week trial) and mostly empty at 6 this morning. yippee! Did 30 min run/walk on the TM, then upper body weights. I'm kinda bummed.. I had to decrease my weights by ~20%... but it's been over 2 months since I lifted regularly. Thankfully, I get stronger pretty quickly.

Everybody PUMP THE BRAKES on the holiday party/eating! Time for some preventative thinking strategies.. Sure, it tastes good to stuff your face at holiday time, but experts say that it's 74 million times harder to burn off that cream puff than it is to eat it. (Experts=Dr. Jhi). My plan for my holiday party is to not use a plate. Anything I eat has to fit between two fingers and whatever I can get in my hand on ONE trip is all I'll eat of the junk. Then I can binge on the veggie platter, w/o dip. (BTW i think dip is gross. Especially when it's warm and everyone has doble-dipped in it and there are chunks of broccoli or chips slooooooowly sinking in the little tub...)I for **** sure am not going to be the girl going back to the table 5 times. This means I'll probably get one cookie, then lots of celery or whatever.

Monnier: TOE PICK! Hahahahahah! Love that movie! Way to go on the trainer! I need to go back and look at the dresses. Hey! Since we've all seen it, everyone buy one and we can crash the wedding! :D

Michelizda, I hope you made it through the day without getting worse.. How nice that the local vendors know your name! THe calendar sounds really lovely. :)

Cherrie, good luck assembling/distributing all the toys. Your husband has very kind eyes. :)

Mary, omg, I cracked up at those slippers! I may actually make some of those for some women in my family. My mom pretends to be a prude so I can imagine her saying "Oh, Jhi.. really..." :) YOUR MILEAGE ROCKS!

Gen, welcome home! Get your a$$ running! Get a head start on your familial Biggest Loser program!

Hi *pandaj*!

Great workouts, *becky*!

I'm sure I missed someone because I only skimmed. But I gotta go.. Got another project added to my plate and I need to get cracking. Happy HUMP Day!

hey just a quick swing through before I head out for my run. Cherrie for pictures all I did to get mine in was to go to my file on the computer, copy and paste. As far as I know there doesn't need to be a host site anymore. But I could be wrong!!

Re: A-Weigh We Go Week of December 17 - 22
Well I'm about ready to be totally healed so I can get back to working out. I have my follow up dr. appt. tomorrow morning and then the stitches are out and I should be good to go. Perhaps this is too much information but I don't think there are currently any men posting....I was fortunate enough to get my period this week also...however no tampons until further notice so I have been stuck using maxi pads this week, can I just say this is the grossest thing in the world???? On the plus side I should have several left over to make some lovely pairs of slippers. ha ha ha....

Tonight is my last night of calm until sometime next week so I have one more trip to Walmart for odds and ends and then tomorrow is Savannah's Christmas play and concert, Friday we head to my parents for the weekend. Monday is Christmas at our house and Tuesday is low key and then bingo that night for their Christmas deal since all the kids will be gone then. Busy, busy!!!!!

I'm going to attempt to do a pic....just to see if I can get that to work here. I'm getting used to this site but I don't like that I have to log in every single time I come back on.
Nope...on the pic. It doesn't give me the option to paste....that's annoying.
