We really needed a picture of the woman in the T shirt with the arrow on it.

Great job Larry.  I was originally going to run the 1/2, but this year I opted to stay home and run the City of Angel's 1/2 instead.  I ran the Las Vegas 1/2 last year and with my losing at the tables the night before, this race was by far the most expensive race I ever ran!!!  (hotel, airfaire, gambling loss, massage after the race, etc).

I wish I could have warned you about the parking! How frustrating. This is one heck of a large group of runners, I'm so happy you found a place to park and got to start on time.

When I ran it, it was also colder and very windy at times, you lucked out with better temp's and no wind.

Oh, the "blue" people - they're called the Blue Man Group, they started the race last year as well.  Lots of interesting entertainment along the way, glad you had a great time and finished safe and sound.

Next time you guys run the marathon in Las Vegas, ask a local who is running the race how to get to the parking lots.  The parking for this race is actually some of the easiest I'm ever had in over 40 races, including much smaller venues.

As a side note, the day before the race isn't just to pick-up the goodies bag, but also to scope the area and the course the day before... Live and learn.

Larry, I guess it's time to try an ultra. In the marathon I just ran, there were shirts that said, "Does this skirt make my butt look fast?" Thanks for the entertaining RR.

What a great report and a clever run. I think staying below 70% is a good idea.
