Denali on Fire

The winds have blown any moisture out of the air and we're getting some great views of Denali, which is some 150 miles away. I promised to post up a couple of pictures of Denali from last weekend. A little fuzzy because of the poor light, but consider the images impressionistic.
ahem. due to technical difficulties we'll need to try again.

Oh very cool. Always a treat to see The Big One. Taken from the top of Summit Drive? That's the high point of my hill runs this past fall.
Beautiful shots, and one of the reasons I love it here. (those flaming colors in the sky are typical sunrise/sunset hues... but breathtaking everytime you see them!)

Erika, top of Crestline, but just about the same as Summit. Yeah, we got cold, we got 18 hrs of dark, but we got the light! Wouldn't trade it for anything, including a month on the beach.
all the blowing snow must be blocking my view because all I get is a white box with a red X - - - unless that red X is the fire?

After several tries and a whole new photo repository, it should work now!
Nice!! I was in Anchorage for 14 days and even drove to the national park and the entire time the peak was covered in clouds !http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/frown.gif|src=http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/frown.gif|border=0!
