I must just be a lucky girl because I have yet to receive a single email from this site. Am I the only one?

I went into my e-mail account and blocked Active.com. I no longer receive any e-mails from them. Thankfully.

What's 'a race'? ;)

I can always 'unblock' them again.

Princess. In the "Actions" box right next to your posting, click on "recive email notifications" it should switch to "stop email notifications" (or the other way around).

I tried this and so far is seems to be working. I'll know for sure when I get home and check my email if it really worked.

Chrs..so I have to do that on any thread that I reply too ??? that is insane...but I will try

I ahve ben getting notifications about posts on threads that I have not even read..let alone replied too..but I will try that

Thanks :)

My guess is that once you set your preferences to cease receiving email notifications, you then have to go back to the threads you have already replied to to unsubscribe from those threads. But you won't be subscribed to threads that you reply to after you set your preferences.

Uh, does that make sense?

And I am surprised to hear a princess use such language.

Re: STOP THE FVCKING EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS

MP - go to "My Active" at the top of this window

You'll see several "tabs" at the top, the one all the way to the right is "Email Notifications" - click on it

There you'll be able to unsubscribe to all the threads you've been subscribed to.

You must have an upgraded account, cuz I don't have an "email notifications" tab on my My Active page.

Re: STOP THE FVCKING EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS
Hey. I'm going to try and help you guys stop the email notifications.

Every discussion you post in you get an email whenever there is activity within that discussion. Apparently some of you aren't getting them, but for the rest of you they are flooding your inbox. The Stop Email Notifications button in your account might not be picking up all of them so what you can do, which I realize is annoying, is go into the discussions that you are receiving emails from and click the Stop Email Notification button on the Actions tab on the left. This will stop emails from that specific discussion.

Let me know if there is any confusion.

Re: STOP THE FVCKING EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS
I was going to reply what others had, that I changed my settings on that yesterday and it works. However, had to laugh (or cry!) when it asked me to log in and then rejected me, which was funny (or sad?) because I had already logged in and had been posting off and on all day. After doing lots of back clicks and getting to this same conversation again, I was magically (or tragically) able to finally answer what I said in my first sentence. YEESH! :(
