When Don Ritchie, a Scotsman I believe, set the world record for 100 miles back in the late 70,s, He ran it on a 400 meter track in a race. He never stopped running and said he just peed while he ran. His time was 11 something but has since been topped by Kouros and maybe one or two others.
Joey, who has run under 24 twice and plans to do so again next April at Umstead.
