Hey guys, you know you can ask not to be notified by e-mail...

You just have to go into MY active, click on Acount and then choose Edit preferences.

Then you won't receive the notifications anymore!

As for friday night... I am sorry I won't be able to make it... but have a great time everyone!

Any :D

Sounds good to me too! I'll be there to celebrate TB's b-day one day in advance ....

Speaking about b-day's, I'll be holding my official 40th b-day party on Sat. Jan. 19, 2008 (real date is Boxing day) from 8pm - 1am in a loft studio ... invitations to come soon ... so mark that date too in your calendar ... be there or be square :x .

Have a safe and merry holiday folks! I admire you folks running in the snow when it's dark outside ... I've lost all my guts somewhere along the way. Or is it more like my dayjob is sucking the life out of me?

Sally

Hey there sexy Sally, methinks its not your day job but your love life...oohhhh kay....onwards, ;) all these invites, jeez Active is going to be thinking that Montrealers prefer to socialize and that the running is make believe. Roly, I like the idea of the hill but it might be a block of ice by then, lets keep an eye on the weather and stay in touch.

Gro - thats a two to one ratio and I have to tray dn work for crying out loud. B-) Oh oh...I'm in trouble now, I can't even gespellt...

Nope, I was busy picking up me feet so I wouldn't land on me face in the snow... oye...bring on the holidays and all that Christmas cheer, actually going to try for a late evening waddle once I put out the fires on the home front...hey we wouldn't want anyone here thinking that we don't RUN.

Sorry guys but I can't stand this anymore.

I put this thread in my favorites, but when I click on it I have to register again, then try to find the thread by clicking about ten times here and there before finding it. Sorry, but it sucks.

I found back my training log, but not in the original format, I lost all my routes and graphs. I hate it. Thanks John for proposing me the one at Runnersworld.

Maybe we should find a site more user friendly. Anyway, you have my email, so if you go to Hurley's or up Mt-Royal or anything else, just give me a call. Tapeo is a great idea, but I don't think that I'll be in town then. The only problem, the place is small and crowded. But the food is great.

Sorry about it, nothing personal. We'll stay in touch.

Hello everyone.. I finally figured out how to get here.. and now we already lost one.. no,no,no..

Runinggag.. I think you better still check in here every now and then, and let us know what's happening.

I have enjoyed the snow here.. I only made it out a couple times but it is pretty cool!.. different at least.

I want to wish everyone a happy holiday season, and I hope to see some of you soon..

........ for a better place!

.... well I'm replying to gag, but alas I fear he amy not see this ...so I will prolly cut & paste an e-mail to all the Montreal Cool Runners, the majority of which have yet to check in to the Active site.

It's been about a week since we were given our forum back and I think that concensus throughout the site is that we preferred the way things used to be and that the new format is clunky and awkward to navigate (that's my feeling anyway). I will give the founders the benefit of the doubt and accept that the move was made with the best of intentions but alas the execution of this move has come up short of expectations. As DF pointed out yesterday it's not as if the service cost us anything..... however, there is a better alternative and the vast majority of the CR faithfulls have voted with their feet and are now happily posting away as they always did on the Kick site which for a while when down due to the sudden jump in subscription..... but is now up and running flawlessly on the new server.

As I tended to bounce back and forward between this thread and the ultra board on Cool Running... I now find myself having to navigate between this thread and the Kick site.... and it's a bit of a pain. The Ultra forum on this site is just about empty.... and given the awkwardness of the format, I too, like Gag am making the switch....

There is an area in the Kick site where we can set up like before, in the near-identical original format a thread which will look and feel like it did before. The registration process is dead simple and away we go........ I have exchanged emails with the Kick main man and he will set the thing up so we will have our own club we just need 6-10 members. Can I get a show of hand, please?

Grommit

the experiment is on the move.......

..... sorry goddess but there doesn't seem to be a TRI thread over at kick.....

Hi everyone,

Can we rescedule the supper for another time? That date conflicts with another engagement. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Respectfully,

TB
