This place scuks for sure, but at least we picked up a couple peeps we had lost along the way. :)

Abb take care of your colon and your colon will take care of you.

You do not want an overactive asss on race day. We have all seen pictures of what that can do!

This country is overmedicated. I blame the pharma companies.

We're here for you Fer!

Re: Running Moms and Dads, Wednesday
Hi everyone!!!! I miss all of you!!!

I'm at Panera Bread with my pink laptop while I'm waiting for DD#2 to finish her dance lessons.

It has taken me 15 minutes to figure this out and now I'm almost out of time.

MONIKA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so great to hear from you. Nice run!

I haven't read the entire thread yet, so I'm sorry if I missed anyone.

Re: Running Moms and Dads, Wednesday
I hate this place!!! First it wouldn't let me post, and now it's changing fonts on me for some reason. Urggggh.

I didn't run at lunch, but I DID skip out of work early and run for an hour on the DM, changed clothes fast (to my bike shorts and a dry shirt) and then bricked it with 30 minutes on the bike. It felt INCREDIBLE!!!

One of the Y trainers (who was not hitting on me, by the way) came over to the DM shortly before I finished and looked at the displays. He said, "Wow, you've been on that machine for almost an hour!" He went on to say that he noticed me working out a lot on the bike & rower and that he could tell I was in great shape. :-)

If I didn't say so before today, I went to the post office this morning, with great trepidation to mail my gifts to my brother & sisters. There was NO line AND they assured me that, going priority mail, the gifts will still arrive before Christmas. Hooray! I don't look to my siblings like the slacker I am!

I gave up on Christmas cards this year -- I designed a New Year's card ( a dancing cow; it reads "Happy Moo Year"). I may or may not send New Year's cards.

((((Fer)))) Hang in there!

Jmuhlig!! Great to see you again! Come out and play sometime! We're usually over at Kickrunners now, on our very own forum.

Fit - OMG!!!! You ran for an hour and then went on the bike! WTG. Did you tell that guy that you've run lots of half marathons? :D

Chosha - I've really missed you too.

Monika - I'm sooo glad you are running again and most of all, that you are here. Are you going to join us at KR?

Re: Running Moms and Dads, Wednesday
Fit - I didn't do Christmas cards either. I'm just not in the Christmas spirit. You are doing way better than me...I'm not going to do New Year's cards either. I LOVE your Happy Moo Year idea!!! :D

Re: Running Moms and Dads, Wednesday

I'm home now btw. DD#2 is done with her lessons and I'm sitting in the kitchen. I've never had a laptop and I am really liking this.

Tomorrow is my last day of work for the rest of the year. My plan is to run my butt off and be a couch potato the rest of the time with my laptop on my...well...lap. :D

Ty, Hippo, or anyone - I am planning a long run this weekend and I need to know how much I should eat and when should I start eating? After a couple miles? Do I eat a ham sandwich or something like that? I prefer Krispy Kreme myself, but I don't want to push it. :D

Seriously, I really need help on this eating thing.

Re: Running Moms and Dads, Wednesday

Is there a way I can find out who is logged on right now? My first impression of this site is not very good.

I want to know if I am talking to myself right now or not. :D

Re: Running Moms and Dads, Wednesday

Hi all! :waves:

Johnny, sorry you got tagged as the grinch, this season is stressful for all of us.

Heather, sorry about your dry socket, hope it heals over quickly.

Fer, I'm praying for serenity, courage, and a return of your happiness.

TY, good luck.

I've had a good training week, mostly TM runs, but three days in a row now. Van's 50K on Saturday.

I went for the shave: I now look like Mr Clean. Everybody knows there is nothing under there to protect with hair anyway.
