So lets talk about S..

Socks...

New shoes 1 st week... tried them on with a thicker pair of socks but a pair I enjoyed running in my last pair of shoes....

First Run with those socks and Shoe combination was on wednesday great fit but my feet were burning with in 2 miles (really really heating up.) so tonight ran in a thinner pair of socks and feet were all over in shoes.. Ughhh
Now none of these socks are considered running socks.. Any suggestions? What I need is a Pair that is thick in the heel area but thin forward.

This topic comes up a lot.

Everyone has their favs. I would try Balega, Smart Wool (no they are not hot) Asics Kayano or many other brands. You should plan on spending around $10 for a good pair if you plan on running quite a bit.

I really like the Features brand socks. They are spendy but last forever and I never get any blistering. Not sure if that's due to the socks or if I'd be fine with any good running socks.

My favorites are Belega and SuperSox. The Balega's, yes, they're about $10.

The SuperSox, however, are fantastic, and only cost about $10 for a pack of 3.

Maybe I don't know what I'm missing, but I've run 2 marathons and 60 mile training weeks in Champion socks that I got from Costco. They're about $2 a pair and work just fine for me.
