Ipod nano

I am Ipod illiterate. I am wondering if you can somehow download movies you own on DVD onto your ipod and not have to rebuy them from the internets.

Thanks!

You can take your own dvds and get them on your ipod. It will require some software to do it though. The decent stuff isn't free.
You'll need something to remove the copy protection and then a program to convert the movie to the format the ipod can use.

Go to ilounge.com where they have detailed tutorials on how to do it.

If that's all you're doing, you might have an easier time with copyright protection if you can find some audio software and just record the movies - I used to do that when I was in radio to use sound clips, and I don't recall having any protection issues.
