We are in between moves right now. Kiddo is home from college for a week and then we leave on Friday to drive with him to Texas for the summer internship. We live in Nebraska.
Next week I get to move kiddo #4 home from a different college. !http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/biggrin.gif|src=http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/biggrin.gif|border=0!
Add to the pile that I have a very sick dog right now and it is touch and go there. Hoping the meds will kick in soon.
First run today since last Tuesday...managed 3 miles with Guinness...the healthy dog.
Nothing today. This will be a light week as I'm tapering for a Grand Canyon R2R2R this weekend (well, at least the first 5 days of the week will be light!).
An easy 6-8 on trails tomorrow. 4-5 to loosen up at the GC after the 12 hour drive on Friday, then 50 miles and 11,300' of elevation gain on Saturday!!
Have a good week everyone!
Ran late after putting the children to bed. 4.2 miles, 8:00 pace, trying to back off on mileage and pace to make sure the "twinge" in my lower leg isn't anything more than just my body telling me to back off. OH, also signed up for my second attempt at getting back into racing - Sharon Timlin 5k in Hopkinton, MA. Large field of runners, means I can get lost in the crowd and pick people off as I go. Almost like XC in college 7 years ago!
Keep up the good work everyone!
P.S. - I noticed Chris is running an Ultra race in AZ - that is HARDCORE! !http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/eek.gif|src=http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/eek.gif|border=0!
