I have never been taken to the merge page that Active claims I should see so I am still unable to access my running log. I am fed up with the lack of response from Active. I did get their canned B.S. message that they may as well put as an auto-response to support e-mails. Absolutely useless.

This is awesome, thanks so much for letting us know how to access our logs. Today I exported over three years of running logs from my Cool Running account. I had to keep playing with the url's and had to manually type them in but it finally worked. And it took 5 seconds to import it to Running Ahead. I was stupid enough to think that the new active log would be as good as Cool Running, it's awful. Apparently they bought all our accounts from Cool Running and now they're figuring out how to put together a running log (and not doing a very good job at it). When I read that I had to pay to track my shoe mileage I decided to bail, I couldn't believe they would do that. I know they changed it to be free but the damage is done, doesn't seem like they know what they're doing. And what's with not being able to see a weekly, monthly or yearly mileage total? Come on, we're runners, that's really important info. Are we supposed to get a 10 key and add it up ourselves? Ok, I'm done ranting, see you guys at Running Ahead.

It worked for me, just imported 4 years of running into my new log. Did some change in the shoes department, funny I had never noticed
how many shoe I was going through, or just stop using... I only just check of few of the details on site and it seem a very cool place..
Though I liked coolrunning for its easiness (is there such a word) I think I'll go runningahead for...

THANK YOU leendert!!! Wow, I just downloaded 5 years of training logs and saved them to Excel. I also transferred them over to RunningAhead,com immediately. It looks like things transferred pretty seamlessly. I'll look around RunningAhead a little more and also check out a couple other sites to see where I'd like my log to reside. I'm pretty certain it won't be Active.com unless they take the Coolrunning log and copy it exactly to Active.com. What a fiasco! From what I could tell, the Active.com log was worthless! Why do they always have to take a good thing and ruin it? Coolrunning had one of the largest running log communities for good reason - it was a great log! Easy to access with all the features runners need. I used Coolrunning ONLY for the log. I want another log JUST like Coolrunning - why'd they have to ruin a good thing? RunningAhead looks pretty close, but not quite as easy to use as Coolrunning. I'll be searching for the log that is closest to Coolrunning. Or, maybe they'll bring our Coolrunning log back? One can hope!

It didn't work for me. This is a nightmare. My coolrunning log went back to 2002 and only 2004 forward seems to have migrated. And, you can't get a report for a period longer than ONE WEEK??! What good is that? Sarah, please let me have my log. I guess I'll just start over, some place else. ****.

THANK YOU SUNRISE RUNNER and everyone else! i followed the directions and downloaded the log but it had a .cgi extension. followed directions, opened it in word and saved as text, and voila!!!!

I had the same thing happen. all you need to do is widen the cullumn a bit and it should fix the problem
