    Re: iPod Playlists

There is a lot you can learn about a person from their record collection.

Kanye made the list three times?  And still none of them were Kanye's Workout.  ha!  Personally, I'll take Daft Punk anyday over Mr. West.  While we're on it, "Da Funk" by Daft Punk is an all time workout favorite.

"My Hero" by  Foo Fighters is great too.  "I'll Stick Around" is another powerful song.  Dave Grohl's makes intense music.

Fixness mixtapes are so important to sustain the superhuman workouts.  Sometimes the music at the gym kills me.  Check me out http://community.active.com/thread/11960  I'm interested in mixtape ideas from personal trainers and group fitness instructors.  Playlists?  Formats?  I am a huge fan of instrumental music.  Makes it easy to speak over.   DJ ohn.

I always need to hear Fergie's Glamorous, and Justin Timberlake's Sexy Back.  Since I work out because it helps me feel and look good these two songs validate why I'm working out.

    Re: iPod Playlists

Have you tried the mixes by DJ Steve Boyett on Podrunner? Most of them are at least one hour long and the BPM range from 130's to 180's.    Fantastic stuff for running, spinning, or whatever.   DJ Steve describes them as "Nonstop, fixed-BPM, high-energy, cutting-edge, dance music.   He has a new mix every week and they are FREEEEEEE.     You can download them from ITunes or from the website at djsteveboy.com.    These mixes got me back started running regularly and changed my life.   Let me know if you need more information.   I highly recommend them.

Many of these playlists seem far too tame for me. I like thunder pumping through my ears and veins! I don't have an Ipod but am still using my old, working mp3 player. If you're a skeptic just give this stuff a try. Of course, to picture softer stuff for me I mentally picture putting me to sleep. Cheers!

      Anthrax - I' m The Man

Godsmack - Time Bomb, Keep Away

    Korn - Coming Undone,  Evolution

Saliva - Ladies & Gentlemen, Your Disease, Click Click Boom

Static-X - Kill Your Idols, I'm with Stupid, The Trance is in the Motion, Pieces
