OMG!!! I used to feel like that all the time in my previous job at Board meetings! Now, my boss (who is a woman, btw) directly has told me: "In a meeting with the CFO, you are not there to speak. Just smile and take notes." Are you kidding me?! Do I look like a secretary?! Top of my class....just smile and take notes. If they want to pay me all that money to just sit there maybe I should flash some cleavage too.
