Goodbye friends

Well, I've had it. It's apparent to me that my login issues and email notification issues are not going to be remedied anytime soon and that Dave doesn't really care about the people frequenting this site. I'm tired of the drama trying to log in. While I may stop by from time to time to check in, my days of frequenting coolrunning are over. The only active threads left here appear to be the religious threads in the Clubhouse.

I'll miss many of the posters here, which is why I'm sure I'll check back occasionally. I'll be on runningahead.com as spaniel.

Happy runnning,

Andy

Andy, I for one will miss your expert opinion on all things training. I swear sometimes just reading all the great advice here in this forum over the last few years has helped raise my game a little.

I wish you well in your future on/off the track and I may make my way over there for more good insight.

Dave

Re: Goodbye friends
This, from JPgarland on 50 plus thread:

Something, finally, has been posted about the e-mail notification issue:

The default is to subscribe you to email notifications for any thread you've created or replied to. To change this default setting, log into your MyActive profile, then go to the "Actions" menu and click on "Edit Preferences". Here you can make the changes to your email notification settings:

Always subscribe via email to threads I create: Change from Yes to No
Always subscribe via email to threads I reply to: Change from Yes to No

For threads you are currently subscribed to, go to that thread and click the link on the left hand side under "Actions" that says "stop receiving email notifications" to unsubscribe.

Please let us know via this board or private messaging if you are still receiving notifications after changing your settings. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.

Re: Goodbye friends

I understand your frustrations. Having to go to separate locations just to log a run and then relog it on a shoe just adds to the confusion around this place. I went a month without critical shoe data going into my first mary.

Active ruins yet another thing.
