Colts' Bob Sanders wins NFL Defensive Player of the Year

Colt's hard-hitting free safety, Bob Sanders, was named the 2007 NFL Defensive Player of the Year and became the first defensive player in franchise history to be honored with the award. Sanders received 31 of 50 votes from a national panel of sports enthusiasts, sportswriters and broadcasters. Also considered for the award where Tennessee Titans tackle Albert Haynesworth and Seattle Seahawks end Patrick Kerney.

Do you think Sanders deserves to be the 2007 NFL Defensive Player of the Year? Why or why not? Who else would you consider?

I think he deserves it. Haynesworth and Kerney are great players, but they didn't have better seasons then Sanders in 2007.
