Re: A good resource for Newbies

I has been decided a long long time ago here that all stupid question will come from me. NOBODY else will be taking that title so that being the case any question is a good one.

Val - Does the board software have a provision to make threads "sticky" so they stay at the top of the forum at all times? This thread (or another like it) would be a good candidate for stickiness.

D'oh. It was worth a try. In the meantime, we'll just keep bumping it up to the top!

Re: A good resource for Newbies

Don,

They do not sticky posts but they have annoucments which stay on top. I thought about that but if we get more and more links then it would get to large and cover the posts. The other solution is to create a document. I am not sure what is involved with either.

Re: A good resource for Newbies

Thanks for all the info. but know that to give ME the info just creates more questions.

Great tip. I have not laughed this hard for awhile. If you see a runner wearing only one sock, don't shake their hand!

Re: A good resource for Newbies

Hey. I saw your thread and wanted to let you know we have wiki docs like the one linked to previously and we'd love to see it get used more. I think it's a pretty cool feature. We can definitely feature great threads via the announcement tool if you all can decide on which ones you'd like to see up there. Also, we can save existing threads as documents, which would be cool too. Let me know. You know where to find me

Is this available anywhere you don't need a un and pw to view?
