Disney Pics are up!
ASI Photo has the pics up from Disney (and MS Blues). My Bib is 16097 if you want to look.

Cool, Jerry! Wow, those previews are heck of a lot bigger and better than the MCM ones! At least you can see what you're ordering!

Yeah, I doubt I'll ever send another penny to MarathonFoto. They finally sent my refund and my replacement pics without the logos AFTER I filed complaints with the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission. They use college kids for customer service. The guy who actually responded to my complaint was the CFO. ASI seems to be a much better run business.

Seems like MarathonFoto would realize they would sell more photos and have less returns/complaints if they would fix their problem to start with. In other words, bigger previews to order and tell us what is going to be on them, give us a choice, etc...
I didn't even order a single picture of my first marathon simply because I couldn't tell which ones were good and which ones were bad, and didn't want to mess with the whole thing. Idiots.
Speaking of website problems, any one know how to stop every single posted message from coming to my e-mail address also??? I clicked on stop e-mails and I'm still getting every message! OMG...
P.S. Where the $#()$ is Holly? I haven't heard hide nor hair of her since Disney!!!

Holly is at her Dad's in Florida -- no Internet access. I'm not sure why though because that would mean her Blackjack (or Crackberry or Que or whatever it is) doesn't have access. I can't remember when she's coming back but I think it's Monday (the holiday.) Wait until she finds out our board has moved. . . and NOT better.

And where the heck is the "quote" feature?!?!?? By the time some of us get a chance to respond to the original post the discussion will have gone so far off tangent that no one will be able to keep track!

And how come we can change the bold, italicized, underlined on our text, but I don't see where we can change the SIZE of the font. For us over-40 folk who can't see these teeny letters...

Pretty good pictures, Jerry. ASI also did the Rock N Roll event in Phoenix last week.. They had one or two good one of me, but I'll probably take a pass on ordering them. Not really up for spending the money. Maybe ASI can get the bid for this year's MCM. Talk to you soon.

OK, I think I have the email thing figured out. First is the preferences section where you have to turn it off. But if you went into a thread before you turned the preferences off the thread may have them turned on. Look at the upper left when you go into the thread. If it says "Stop email notification", click on it and that should fix it.

Great pics Jerry....I agree, marathonFoto should have used better previews like these. maybe next year?
And I'm planning on going Goofy as well next year  but have to save up a little to be able to register! My parents are going to use their timeshare for the race, so we'l have a nice family vacation as well. Will be nice since I only see them three or four times a year.

Don't wait too long to register, Chris. Goofy is limited to something like 5000 and it fills up fast (yes, there are that many goofy people.) Now I don't know WHEN it fills up but I thought you should know.

Thanks! Yep, that's the MCM hat. Hearing the "Semper Fi"'s along the course was pretty motivating.

That may be tough then. I'm still strapped after moving myself, the accident, then moving the waste of time...unless my insurance check or school loan suddenly appears, I may just be doing the full then. I looked at the site and saw they were 65% full for goofy. Maybe 2010 if I don't make it this year.

I've done quite a few races at Disney: Race for the Taste, Minnie's race and a couple of others. You usually get a few good photos out of the bunch. They also seem to put the photographers in good locations so they get the castle, the mountain etc. in the background. I was dissapointed in the photos from MCM.
Jerry, yours looked great. I didn't stand in the line to get the picture with the medal. It was too long and my legs were only going to get me to the car!
