this is my chance

hey, maybe now I will be one of the top posters. I hate that our history is gone. And I cant seem to change my name back to runner06. I did figure out the avatar though. I will keep trying.

Annoyingly, it seems that your profile picture and your avatar are not necessarily connected. You have to go back and upload the photo again as your avatar. It's ridonkulous, but there it is. There's also apparently a way to change your name--VArunner did it last night. Fortunately, I use the same name for everything. Le chat du feu, c'est moi.

Yeah, there's another place to do the avatar, besides the one I thought was it.

Go to My Active, then click on Account, then click on change avatar under the box labeled Action.

This is freaking annoying. Has anyone figured out how to change the size of your font so us old folks can read it without reading glasses????????????????

Nope. You can change the color and do a spell check. But I don't see fonts.

I am with you. I sent an email to the MCM board person yesturday. It should be interesting what she has to say, I had emailed her about the board being down and she sent a really nice email back saying she was working on the problem- never mentioned this huge change. I really cant stand this!!!!:(

That's interesting that you got a reply from a woman. I initially emailed Angela Huff when the board was down during the holidays (no response) and I called last week during the second outage and talked to the "computer guy". Now given that the web site was set up by "MCMPR", I'm guessing their computer guy has nothing to do with it. As a result, it's more likely that the non-techy PR types have been "sold" a bill of goods by Active.com.
