New Runner
Hi, i'm new to this forum and i'm hoping to get some advice. I started off running last year and really love it, and have been encouraged to join my school's cross country team. I think i can comfortably run a mile right now but i'm not too sure if i'll be ready for xc in the fall. For those of you that have been on teams, how much do you usually run for practice or for meets (i heard they were around 5K)? I run almost everyday and it really isn't a chore to me because i enjoy it but i also want to make sure i'm doing enough to prepare, so i'm ready. Any suggestions? Thanks.
