2008 NYC Marathon Qualifying Standards

Application Info

 

Here are the qualifying standards (full and half-marathon) (BY MAY 1), using age on date of qualifying race:

 

Men

  • Open: 2:55:00 and 1:23:00

  • 40+: 3:10:00 and 1:30:00

  • 50+: 3:30:00 and 1:40:00

  • 60+: 3:45:00 and 1:48:00

 

Women:

  • Open: 3:23:00 and 1:37:00

  • 40+: 3:38:00 and 1:44:00

  • 50+: 3:52:00 and 1:50:00

  • 60+: 4:13:00 and 2:00:30

I used the half-marathon standard (50+) to qualify two years ago (but deferred and actually ran in 2007). May use it again this year.
