Hey all,
Thanks for all the kind thoughts! You guys are great... you're actually the only people i've told other than DH and a close friend! Things have calmed down a little and i'm seeing my mum over the weekend - she's coming to stay so hopefully everything will work out for the best whatever happens. And the running definitely helps with it all!
Macd - that Indy mini... you can get quite far in 3 months so I wouldn't rule it out! Have a look at Hal Higdon's beginner plan, or I think Marilyn suggested something recently too that had lower mileage and sounded great!
Spicegeek - sorry you had to spend your weekend working but I can definitely see the appeal of the gym! You do seem to have an amazing variety of exercise which will surely do you great in the long run!
Runjr - great 10 over the weekend... make sure you rest up those aches as you really don't want an injury!
Joe - It sounds lovely that you and DW are both racing! you can share the enjoyment after... great 6 too.
Jeff - great time on that race! Especially after just 6 weeks... imagine what you could be doing if you stuck with running throughout the year
Kevin - sorry your race was cancelled, but they'll be plenty more and at least you got a run in anyway. Love those pics... it always amazes me to see snow like that when we hardly get a sprinkling in the South of England. I've not seen any snow this winter!
Kathy - good to hear from you again... great race and that time it really good with all those hills
Eero - welcome... are you a marathon runner or halfer? We are all working to halfs, but some have asperations of the full distance!
Misswendy - great to see you back but take it easy still! no running for you just yet
Peg - take it easy with that hip pain. How was the movie?
Sheila - 16 miles when you are having the week from h#ll is great! Keep icing those shins and rest them up!
JPGarland - amazing time on your HM! I usually find that no-one passes me after about the 3rd mile too... usually for me though it's because i'm pretty much last and then pick up paces from those that went out too quick

I definitely feel that wind as I had that problem in my 10K last year... it's a real killer but makes the achievement even better so congrats!
Mary - great to see you back! That Bob Greene challenge sounds like it'll put you through the paces
Laurel - I was wondering where you'd gotten too! I've got a younger brother (28 - still lives at home) and sister (26 - lives round corner from my parents) - at least they are close to support my mum as it's more difficult for me being a couple of hours away. My Dad has moved across the country to a rented flat... apparently he was credit checked for it back in August so this has been going on for a while... we think there's another woman involved somewhere, but still waiting for it all to come out! Great run for you though 7.75 miles is fabulous! hope that soreness has gone!
Andahuff - that is a combo of your name??? In that case you were obviously born to be a runner!!!
Stunata - Glad you're over that fever. Nice speedy 4 for you!
I've got 5 on the schedule for tonight so will report back later! Hey - think I need to post more as mine are always really long!

Happy running all
Cara
