OHR (One Hour Runner) - Feb 4-10

1. What Week/Day are you on?

2. How do you feel?

3. Have you had to repeat a week or day?

4. Did you add time or remove time from one of your runs?

5. Do you notice something different about yourself yet?

Here is the link to the One Hour Runner training program (Be sure to scroll down until you see "Becoming a One Hour Runner"):

I'm doing the OHR program (I'm from the C25K group League of Lizards- shout out to the Lizards!)

I'm currently on Week 4, Day 1.  This week I actually get to start increasing beyond 30 minutes and I'm stoked about that-  was getting a little antsy and bored the first few weeks.  Other than that, I have nothing too exciting to report.  Anyone else?

I'm on W2D1, and on the thread with Like No Other Runners.  I'm glad to have three weeks at thirty minutes - I'm still trying to convince my body that it is used to this now and wish I was getting bored.  I have a lot of hills on my route, and fight the 20 minute mark until about 24.  Then I get a second wind and can finish strong.  I was enthusiastic all through C25K, but this program has me intimidated.

I'm thinking of doing this program because it's based on minutes rather than distance.

For those C25K'ers, did you overlap both programs?  Say Week 9 of the C25K can be Week 1 of the OHR??

    I'd love some imput!

Well I started OHR today. I completed Week 1 Day 1. I can't believe C25K is done and I am at the begging of something again.

jc - I am not doing this program, but I would just end one and start on the other.  It's more about preference really.

harrnjos, Didn't you use to do this for C25K too?  I really liked having this to come to when I was doing that program.  Thanks for starting it again!!!

Mr. Tremor, I think I'm going to follow you over here to the OHR.  I just feel that this program will fit with my schedule better than the other.  Tomorrow I will graduate from C25K and can't wait.  I'm sure it does seem strange starting over again.  Well, I guess I'll see you over here next week.

jcrule-  I overlapped the programs-- week 9 of C25K I considered week 1 of the OHR.  Otherwise it's an entire month of 30 minute runs which sounded very boring to me.  I'm on week 5 right now.  It's all personal preference and how you feel though.

    Mr. Tremor,

I was thinking the same thing...start a new thread each Sunday/Monday with Harn's questions and the link.

I'll see you there on Monday.
