I wouldn't say "SHOT" that's a little harsh but maybe 'smacked upside the head' would fit the bill for:
During labor (as witnessed by being in the room) men (sorry guys - never saw a female partner say this stuff!) saying -
"OH MY GOD, (while looking at wife's 'area') will that go back?!"
"Should THAT be coming out too???!!!"
"While staring at the game on TV - stating "great job honey, I know, I know"
"She's having a lot of pain with these contractions - how long will she have to suffer like this? (My answer is : until you get an epidural or the baby is born)"
"I'm exhausted - do you have anything more comfortable than this reclining chair to sleep on?"
"I don't do diapers"
"How long does she have to wait to have sex again?" (Yeah, cuz I'm sure that's the first thing on her mind after delivery)
C'mon guys ... a little tact please
Actually this was my husband who said all these things ... but I thought I would use this as an example for others to avoid!
