Weight Watchers Runners

I know there are some out there. I've seen there posts. I am reembarking on my journey w/ Weight Watchers and was hoping to get some tips. I'm a lifetime member that fell off the wagon when I met my wonderful fiance and started the whole nesting thing. I'm three months and 11.4 lbs away from my wedding and ideal weight (goal weigh is 6.4 lbs away). While I have the running thing down pretty well, consistency could be better. Anyhow, I'd love to hear some of your motivational stories and how you make it all work together.

Thanks

Re: Weight Watchers Runners

Hi

I am a Weight Watcher runner, we have a thread that we all post to over in the Newbie Cafe and you are welcome to join us any time, the thread starts up new every Monday and goes all week.

I have gone from 228.5 to my currrent 147 following WW and running/moving my butt.. I am about 12 lbs from my goal.

I think it is important for anyone who has ever had weight issues to realise the journey is never over, this is something we must face forever, we can never get to goal and think that's it, that the battle it is all done, it will never be done, old habits and issues ws have with food are always just ready to take over us again :)

I think what has helped me most is finally realising that food is just fuel, it is not love, comfort, a friend, a stress reliever, my social life does not have ro revolve around food. It's just fuel for my body and at long last I fuel my body right :)
