Running Routes NYC & Groups that welcome visitors?

Visting nyc this week - looking for some great routes or groups to join for workouts!

can`t beat central park - outer loop is 6 miles - inner loop 4 miles - resevoir 1.5 - ish miles - see http://www.centralpark.com/pages/sports/running.html for deatils


see http://www.nyrr.org/ for group runs - they don`t care who shows up

If you're in Manhattan, there are options, but Central Park is not to be missed. Post where you'll be and you can get more specific info. (Also, some of the US's top runners will be running invitational 8Ks (9 for men, 9:30 for women) after a Club 8K at 7:30.)

Glad you had fun in out fair city !! ... did you catch the inflatable colon at the end of tne 15k ... only in NY !! lol
