"300" strength/endurance test question

I recently saw the movie "300" and was impressed with the fitness of the actors in the movie. Well, it turns out that they put themselves through a hellish workout program to give them"functional strength" which emphasizes full body exercises and body weight exercises as opposed to muscle isolation exercises.
I have been a devotee of body weight exercises for several years now and cxan attest to the results. But as I was perusing the articles on this website:

I was stumped to figure out what a "floor wiper".
It says that it is done while holding 135 lbs. I just can't figure out how it is done.
Any Help?
By the way, the website for this gym is quite inspiring.
I figured it out.
You lay on the floor with the bar (total 135 lbs) held like at the beginning of a bench press. You hold your legs straight and together and bring them up to touch one plate, bring them down to the ground and back up to the other plate. Each touch is a rep.
Ouch!

Well, the workout and the philosophy are real. I did it once and it took me 27:41, which I considered really, really bad. Then over the next month, I did more full body exercises with some weightlifting. I did it again in 20:34. I have been doing similar workouts 3 days a week for the last 2-3 months.
The good: I feel wayyy stronger and my endurance has improved, even in running, and I have slacked off considereably over the mast three months.
The bad: I am packing on some muscle, and the only reason that is bad is because the extra weight is making my uniform shirts tight. Also, I haven't lifted weights in a while, preferring to do pushups, pullups etc. The increased stress on the joints makes me a little more achy than usual.
