You must have been wearing that cowboy hat and she found you irresistable.

BTW, we did learn one lesson. Sometimes friends are not really friends. We had this friend(female) whom we'd both trust and she(Brenda) would ask her for advise sometimes. I too would ask her for advise when we'd hit little bumps, thinking her being a woman and B's best friend, would be able to give me good pointers. Well, turns out she wanted to be mroe than friends with me and was telling Brenda she should leave me. Thank God we have good communication and trust...

Well, you'll just have to wait until April 25th, Holly! You can hug us all
You're still coming, right? Any chance you can run the half, or are you out of commission until after surgery??

Well after everything at work, I decided to push my surgery until the week of the race. That way I can still go with you guys and cheer and take time off for surgery. I don' have enough leave for both. So I'm hoping to have surgery on a Friday and then have until Thursday to get better, than ride down with Jerry and start to see how well I can really move around. I talked to someone else who had the same operation, but on their knee. The two could have completely different results, I don't know, but she is months out and still cannot walk normally. She says she still has a lot of pain. She didn't have physical therapy though and I WILL NOT stand for that. I want to get healthy and back on the road as quickly as possible! I have races to run people!

Yes, you DO have races to run! With us! I'm sure if you're doing PT and have a good doc, you'll be back on the road quickly. So glad you're going to be coming down for support and camaraderie anyway! You're so sweet! You can pass out your painkillers to all of us after the marathon

Yeah one of Liz's best friends at the time tried to keep us from getting together in the beginning by lying some big lies. Liz and I survived and the bimbo now has 4 kids from different dads. Not that anything is wrong with that but for her it was not her choice. She was busy trying to trap each one of those guys into relationships. Can we say Karma.

Holly,
I'm from a teensy tiny town. Move. That's the only solution.
Jesus and Jimmy, you're too cute for words. Your wives are lucky, and you're lucky to have them. You give me hope.

We have been over the moving scenario! LOL! As soon as humanly possible, I'm out of this small town life. Its okay for married folks and children, but single and small town SUCKS!

Jesu you were cute first. That means I was the last cute one. Jesus I am telling Brenda. Remember Liz is not the jealous type.

Nice thought...remember life is a marathon too...cherish every day, and give it the right amount of time...or take up swimming, i did that for a while...awesome workout and then you can get ready for a sprint triathlon someday...loved those sicily shots...i ran with someone this week who is going to do some biking over in that area.

Re: Small Town Lessons!
Thats also a nice thought. You haven't been around a whole lot lately. I have a non-weight bareing injury. Its a repetitive motion thing. Swimming is just as bad as running or riding a bike. But I have been swimming regularly since January, just because I can't quit everything. Hopefully surgery won't pull me to far out of the cycle.
