Ryan Hall was impressive in London!!!!!
He finished 6th in 2:06:17. He was really great today and showed some class in running with the big dogs. Remember this is only hi 3rd maraton ever with all of them being under 2:10:00.
That pace put him at an average 4:50/mile. Unbelievable.
Ryan Hall's splits:
10K, 29:11
20K, 58:58
1/2, 1:02:13
30K, 1:28:38
40K, 1:59:23
finish, 2:06:17
With Deena Kastor and him along with the other marathoners this might be a good year for America at the olympics for the longest run they offer! I am super excited.

Sounds like it was a great race. A time like that certainly gives Hall a good shot at an Olympic medal.

I find it impressive and I have 4 hrs left to run when they finish- I think of that every time i run a half or full. If I am at mile 10 the winners have cooled down and are relaxing-

It's just mind boggling to me what the human body can do. Never in my entire life will I be able to run ONE mile at that pace. It's truly astonishing.

The report I read also said Hall was 5th. The seconds get harder and harder to come by at those speeds.

Re: Ryan Hall was impressive in London!!!!!
And 3 hrs for me left. I have a good friend who ran London today and she's running Boston next week. She's really awesome. I have to to and look up her time. I just checked and the everyday people's results are not up yet. But she's BQ'd for 5 years and she's really dynamite. Started running in her mid 30's and has run 35 marathons in the last 6 years.
