beginner training


Hi all...my friends and i decided as of last week that we were going to try a relay triathlon...I swam in high school, so i decided do the swim part...I have never swam in open water for competitions...i live in san diego and usually swim in the ocean during the summer time...

could anyone give me some tips as to how you train when in the pool...the competition is in a bay and did i mention that its in less than a month :|

its only a 1/4 of a mile...I just need help with maybe some drills and how many hrs a day and such...thank you :8}
