Anyone planning to run Houston in January?
Just curious. It sells out early. I'm about to register. My daughter is going to run it with me (since she lives there). Chuck, Jesus, Kevyn? Any plans?

I signed up for Houston. I used to live there and ran it twice, but that was about 10 years ago. My husband goes down once a month on business, so I figured it was about time for a visit. I always did well at this one.

Cool, Kathy! My daughter said it's a good flat easy well-supported race. That's the one I'm hoping to BQ on. We'll see

Houston (Jan 18) is one week after Disney, Jerry. I'll be running with Mickey in '09; I'm thinking Houston '10.

Well, if anybody needs a place to stay just send me an email. Brenda and I would love to play hosts, we got two spare rooms, a comfy couch, and a lotta floor as well as garage area...LOL But seriously, mi casa su casa and if the gang does it I'm game....

Austin sounds cool too, but I may just do the half. I promised myself that if I broke 4 hrs this year, I'd quit marathons and start training mixed martial arts and my new next goal would be to get to fight in at least ONE competition(any level) fight. So, after Houston 09, so long marathons...:)
