Larry King....So you're Brutus?
LK...says here you're a blues, football, sci fi, track, rasslin' historian and an all around awesome guy. True?
LK...Ok...so you went that route...because?
Brutal...I was like a duck to water. Just me!
LK...I see, so ...rasslin'..???
Brutal...it's that good vs evil and the psycology used to put butts in the seats. Everyone loves to hate a villian...ha!!!!!
LK...so will that 19.32 ever be broken?
Brutal..sure! ...just not anytime soon. A 9.7 is what great sprinters run, a 19.6 in the 200m. When we start talking 19.3 stuff, we are now dealing with the supernatural. MJ was a freak, doing what freaks do, which is the freakish.
LK..speaking of the supernatural, what about the sci fi/fantasy relm?
Brutal...it's pouring down rain outside and there you are curled up in the bed under a night light with Heinlien, Brunner, Simak, Merritt, Stapledon etc. Doesn't get much better than that. Also a big fan of Robert E.Howard and H.P.Lovecraft. Gotta love the Elric stories. A vampiric sword???
LK..I prefer Steinbeck and Hesse myself.
Brutal..can't go wrong there either, yep..Steppenwolf..a classic!
LK...what about Islam?
Brutal...I seriously doubt there was some pow wow between Mohammad and the Angel Gabriel in a cave on a mountain.Could be histories biggest hoax. If ya read the Koran, you'll see how the prophet makes out over and over again. I will give Mohammad his props, hell of a salesman! We just can't accept..."rid the world of infidels"...nope!
LK...is Tom Brady the best ever?
Brutal..nope! He's great but he's also in a great system with a ton of weapons and a fantastic coach. Montana was the best!
Brutal..that's where it all started. Jimmie Rodgers is considered "The Father Of Country Music"...he admits to being influensed by black music back in his day. He was actually just a white bluesman. Being white they called it "country." Then there's Elvis, who started out doing covers of blues songs by people like "Big Boy" Crudup and "Big" Mama Thornton. His "Midnight Train" a Junior Parker tune. Did ya know the Rolling Stones got that name from an old Muddy Waters tune?
When the Beatles first arrived in America, a reporter asked John Lennon..."what's the first thing you want to do?" Lennon replied.."meet Muddy Waters." Then there's Robert Johnson, who made a huge impact on just about everyone. Died in 1938, actually murdered.
Brutal..jealous husband poisioned him, or so the story goes.
Brutal...gotta have a playoff system in Div I. Right now USC might be the best team in the nation. I have no doubts they beat Kansas and West Virginia. Not sure about LSU. I hope Kansas does win out, so the BCS sees how ridiculous this all is, because LSU will destroy Kansas. Hell they have high school playoffs. Yep it's broke and needs fixing.
LK...this has been interesting, enjoyed it !http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/smile.gif|src=http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/smile.gif|border=0!
LK...we'll do it again... ok?
Brutal..sounds good to me !http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/smile.gif|src=http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/smile.gif|border=0!

It was inspired by this....
Reddy you are not the first to think, "Hey, I could sign Brutal to a contract and..."
We've been all through that stuff, man. Brutal would be great on the right show but here we were a few years ago talking about the "new" era of t&f, post-BALCO busts. Kim Collins was new WC in the 100. Capel had come back from Timbuktu to win the 200. Mo was running 10.3's and it was truly a new day
-lots to discuss. Real "Brutal" type set-up. What does he wanna talk about? Islam! Quoting the Q'ran, calling Muhamed a child molester. <br /><br />I've known Larry for ages now and always enjoy posting with him, arguing with him, requesting certain stories, watching him set up newbies. But my question is how are you going to get him to talk about what your TV show is about?<br /><br />Bob Kostas: Brutal, welcome to Kostas in the Morning.<br />Brutal: Hey wassup man.<br /><br />Kostas: So tell me...what do you think about the Asafa Powell-Tyson Gay rivalry?<br />Brutal: Blind Lemon Jefferson just had "it"...see, he could sing them old blues!<br /><br />Kostas: No, wait...I was asking about the showdown in Beijing at the 2008 games.<br />Brutal: Did ya know Blind Lemon used to make lemonade and watch Robert Johnson do his thang on the back portch-that's how he learned to play the blues!
Kostas: Uhh, Brutal...I asked you to share some thoughts on the...
Brutal: It works like this, li'l fella. I was watching NBC Sports when you were carrying Marvin Barnes' jock and doing bad commentary for the old ABA, got it? So don't come here acting all uppity like you know everything, okay Slick?
Kostas: Hey wait a minute, this is my show. Either talk track or I'll have you escorted off the set.
Brutal: I'm 6'4", 250, I bench press more than your car weighs okay? You have a neck like a stack of dimes! Yeah, you're gonna "escort" me. What, I'm imagining this? Look lil fella, you'd better change your attitude before I pop that zit you call a head.
Kostas: We will return after a station break.
Good luck with your show, Reddy, hahahahha! LOL. Happy Thanksgivin', y'all!

Funny he didn't ask about child prostitutes...
Larry King...says here you spent 4 years in the Navy. What about prostitution and the military man?
Brutal...don't know what the current situation is today Larry, I do know back in the early 70's, there was no problem with
the military and working girls. They came up to you, you didn't search them out or hunt them down. You assumed they were doing what they wanted to do. I never encountered anyone who didn't appear to be enjoying herself.
LK...what about the age of these girls?
Brutal..that was a non issue. Nobody cared? They were working the bar long before you got there, so that wasn't a factor at all. Like I said nobody cared. Why were they there if they were real young? I will say this, I never had a feeling I was with anyone under 17/18. Keep in mind I was 19-22 myself. Also keep in mind things were different over there. Different culture!
LK...I know, I've been there.
Brutal...they actually got mad if you didn't buy them a drink and accept their advances. Whole different set of rules over there.
