Who else watched USC crush ASU last night?

The Trojans really looked good (finally).

Right now they could be the best team in the nation, which is sad.

Is that possible? They're not from the SEC, which as ANYONE knows, is the BEST conference in football...absolutely spilling over with fast, blacks.

Dude, the SEC is clearly the best conference in the country.
This will be proven today when McFadden runs for 937 yards against LSU, securing the Heisman, as Arkansas loses 42-41 to the eventual champion.

While there is absolutely no doubt the SEC is the top football/track "conference", it's USC which as been the best
"team" this decade. A "team" however doen't make a "conference."

Okay, and how many national championships in this decade has USC won? 1.5 if you count 2004 and the shared title in 2005.

USC may be good but I don't know I would claim them the best team of the decade. They still find ways to lose out in the national championship game just as other great teams do.

There are times I think LSU plays it well too close to the vest for comfort.

USC was the best team back in 2002-2003 as well, but wasn't in the NC hunt.

Not impressed. We see them every week down here and they are not as good as advertised.

The SEC really needs LSU to win to give the conference credibility - as evidenced by the refs calls. All year we have heard how good these teams are. I think the Gators are the best team by far in the SEC at this point of the season.

I like the Gators fine but they have lost to LSU, Auburn and UGA. Thus, I have no idea how you say they are the best team in the SEC.
