Ankle pain....could it be b/c I don't have bike shoes?

My ankles are hurting from training. They of course only hurt after a bike/run work out. Could it be that I don't have bike shoes? Could it be the way I'm running? Maybe my shoes are too tight? Stress on my ankles? The achilies heel? Anyone have any ideas?

what part of the ankle hurts? the achilles? or the sides?

do it hurt when you run or cycle?

I'm not a doctor but don't think it's the bike shoes. is it possible that you turned your ankle on a run? if you have pain running or cycling don't do it - pain is bad! elevate your ankle, rest it and ice it and if possible take antiflammatories if it isn't better after a day or so go see a real doc in the real world
