Just wanted to let you all know that my daughter delivered a healthy baby girl on Father's Day at 11:16pm. She's 7lb 1oz and 19 inches long, her name is Calla and we're going to NYC Monday the 23rd for about a week. Her hubbie is taking this week off so we'll be there when he goes back to work. All went well, they went to the hospital at 9:30 pm and she was born at 11:16. Her big sister(3 years old) told me on the phone this morning, "Omi, my baby sister is out of my mommie's tummy and I'm going to see her." I'm thrilled.
From one Oma/Omi to another, what a precious gift for Father's Day. Congratulations!

Is there any better gift than a grand child? My daughter was born on Father's day as well, so shall we say she has a spirit child, her birthday is tomorrow.

I know I am late, but CONGRATS!!!! Kids are such a blessing, even more so when you can give them back. Enjoy every precious moment.
