Thought this was an interesting article....

From the Big Sur Marathon... This guy didn't only run the entire race barefoot, including that 2 mile, 550 foot hill between 10 and 12 miles, but he did it backwards.
"No doubt a brain and some shoes are essential for marathon success, although if it comes down to a choice, pick the shoes. More people finish marathons with no brains than with no shoes."

That's why the Stanley Steemer co. runs those commercials! "Once a year may not be enough" That makes me want to tell my husband to get up and mop the floors. Yuck! |
