Just Checkin' in

Hey folks,
just wanted to say hey, and wish everyone safe and happy training.
We're currently in Phoenix where today the high is 114 degrees... but it's a dry heat. SHYEAH!!
Fortunately for me I got mine this morning around 6:00 am, it was still cool.
Anyway, stay safe, train smart and we'll either see ya on the road or we'll see ya in New York.
Take care,
Deano

Dry heat?? Like a convection oven, right?!? :0

So how many laps around the tour bus equal a mile?? I am sure criss-crossing the country on a tour bus and a concert in a different venue each night can be hectic and exhausting. But what a cool way to explore each city... by running. I hope you are keeping a good training diary. You will have a great running book on your hands someday!

Hi Deano,

The past few weeks up here in Western MA have been Hot and Humid (well you know you guys were just here), but, we a got break this past few days with Thunderstorms that brought the temps down to high 60's for a bit. It's hard to run in this humidity, but compared to what you guys had in AZ, well, I am happy to take 80F with 70% humidity any-day.

I was hoping to see y'all again in SLC, but I am sure you mind running with the crew we that has been lined up for ya.

Ya Gotta Believe,

Pablo

I missed you this weekend, I was stuck working, but wished I had had the time to make it. I haven't seen you guys play in a while. The heat down here is draining. I run inside, or early mornings. Long runs at 5am is the only way to go here now. I work on the road alot, and know how hard training is. I am amazed at your will power as long as your road trips are. Keep it up.

Re: Just Checkin' in

Good Job Deano!

My biggest roadblock to running this weekend had nothin' at all to do with heat and humidity (well...the heat and humidity DID play a role but...). My dawg Earnest Phred brought me a lovely gift of the summer's first, and hopefully last, round of poison ivy. Which, combined with the heat and humidity makes things unpleasant to say the least! I'm looking forward to a few days in Martha's Vineyard to run some new ground - and it never hurts to be able to end at the shore!!

Keep it up!
