Who is doing the Disney Marathon in 09?
I'm on the fence and just wondering. Maybe it will help me pick a side to land on. LOL I didn't knock it out last year do to the hip, so its bound to be a repeat one of these years.

Excellent! You guys are definitely tipping the scale! What better time to run it then when friends are going to be there!

I'm still on the fence with running it in 09, but leaning towards running it. I ran it this year (2008) as my first marathon and had a great time but I was more concerned about - "could I finish a marathon". Now that I know I can I can stop for the ice cream!!

I won't be stopping for ice cream. I'm still more concerned with finishing them. Although, I don't think I will have the same problem I did there this past January. Hopefully the surgery has me all fixed up and I will have no more problems.

Not this year, but hopefully in 2010. Right now the 2009 WDW Marathon is 75% full.

Who is doing the Disney Marathon in 09?
My brother and his son is doing the Peachtree Road Race with me July 4th & my nephew wants to do the Disney marathon with him in 2009. I want to do the The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror^TM^ 13K Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 10:00 pm!

Chris (Irish), you and Jerry both.
It usually gets this full pretty quickly and then doesn't sell out until August, which is just a month away. Which is why I'm trying to make my decisions now.

I wouldn't mind doing some of the shorter races, but they are so far away! To expensive to travel.

My husband and I are thinking about running the half-marathon on behalf of my father-in-law who was just diagnosed with non-hodkins lymphoma. We would be running for the Leukemia and Lymphoma's Team In Training. I'm a beginning runner and have no idea of what I may be getting myself into but if there's ice cream involved, I'm there!
