I've run one - Richmond (Nov 2007) - 4:45
MCM will be my second, and we'll just play it by ear after that. Might do Outer Banks for 2009. I've got some temptation to run Richmond again this year, but that's three weeks after MCM. I know some of you out there have done them that close together - would you do it again?
MCM (07') was my first. I'm running Chicago this fall (08') and Pittsburgh next spring (09'). I am SOOOO excited about running a hometown marathon and having a big group from the forum run it with Kat and me!
Right if I can remember them all there should be 15
1. 1982 Newcastle-upon-Tyne
2. 1986 London
3. 1987 London
4. 1989 Stratford-upon-Avon
5. 1990 London
6. 1991 London
7. 1992 Dublin
8. 1993 London
9. 1994 London
10. 1995 London
11. 1996 London
12. 1997 London
13. 2000 London
14. 2006 Marine Corps
15. 2008 London
All apart from numbers 7 and 14 were in the United Kingdom (England). Dublin is in the Republic of Ireland & technically counts as overseas,& I think you all know where number 14 is.

I'm actually thinking about running Richmond. I'll run Chicago and MCM in October and then have a few weeks off before Richmond. . . so if everything goes well with the two-in-a-month game, I might go ahead and run Richmond. It's close enough to drive to in the morning and it's actually a pretty good race.
I'm just curious what the answers across the board are. Oh and I will give points at the end of the day for the persons with the highest totals. ![]()
I've only got one successful finish under my belt. And that was last years MCM.
35 marathons and 42 ultramarathons. The 42 includes 9 DNFs in 100 milers where I got beyond the marathon distance.
Will
I think Will wins!
I do today what you won't, so tomorrow I do what you can't.

I'm sorry Will but ur disqualified, ur not allowed to play this game... ![]()
Screw Jane Fonda!!!
Holy cr@p... more ultras than 'regular' marathons? And 42???? That MUST be the meaning of life.
We can't disqualify him. I think Will is in the running for the most MCMs ever. Heck, probaly had at least 5 MCMs under his belt before some of us were born...

... or 7 in the case of people who are replacing your children for a trip to Ireland.
And I'm in the running for most MCMs ever, too
Granted, none of them will include the first 31, and I still have quite a few to go, but if I keep running for another 40+ years it could happen!

I've run three so far, but only one was for time.
Finish one and you're a marathoner. For extremists, here's a list to chew on:

Well ain't that just a bit humbling. . .
Most of us can't put that many miles into our lives; we'll just have to put life into our miles!
