I run to see where my body can go, both in the literal and figurative senses. I run so that I can run more. I run for the adventure! I run to do that which others think I can't, shouldn't, or won't. I will.

I run because I quit smoking and do not want to go back to it. Can't run and smoke that's for sure.
I run because I didn't want to gain the weight everyone who quits smoking gains....This really is the perfect way to stop that habit.

I've been trying to nail this down for me. The problem is there are so many reasons.
I run for my health, mental and physical, that's what got me started. I run for the challenge, me against me, that's what keeps me going. These are the necessities.
I do love and appreciate the people I've met, the camaraderie, buying shoes (just bought Mizuno Wave Inspire 4, this will be interesting) and all the other things that go with it. Honestly though, I could do all that without running.
We've come this far and it's still the same,
Runnin' out here in the rain.
