We are starting up a "Biggest Loser" type weight loss challenge at our gym. Setting up for two teams. We need to set up some activities where the teams can compete either head to head or singly. Because of varied work schedules time is an issue. We are looking for physical challenges as well as nutritional. Has anyone set up one of these contests? Any resources you can suggest? Each team will have a personal trainer as a team leader. We are also trying to work out how to select teams and how to set up a scoring system. We want the weight loss to be the primary way of scoring but also earn points for cardio and resistance workouts and nutritional knowledge. We have access to a local park and school with track on weekends. We also have an assortment of equipment, free weights, cones, hula hoops, etc.. We are looking at a 12 week program. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
