Funny little question!

Here's a funny little question - (it's good for a laugh/chuckle -  anyway)

If I run a 1/2 Marathon at the beginning of the month, and another one 2-3 weeks later, does that make a full marathon?  Prolly not . . . huh?

but I just might do that this month!   there's the Turtle Crawl on Mackinaw Island on the 25th

- and I did the Brooksie Way on the 5th - & loved it!!!!!!  I think I'm hooked - that seemed like such a perfect length run - wow!  it was awesome!

looking forward to doing more in the future!

keep on running everyone & good luck to all of you MCM runners coming up on the big one!

& congrats to all the runners in this past weekend's Chicago Marathon - How awesome the weather was!:D

    Re: Funny little question!

LMB, most of my friends don't even know how long a "marathon" is anyway.... they ask me how long was your Marathon?....they don't know a Half from a Whole....so you could tell them anything and they would believe you.....

I have found that as runners we have the freedom to classify our races and runs about any way we need to....as long as we are out there trying. For some a 5K IS like a Marathon... but they are out there giving it their best...

Good for you on all your races and acomplishments with the weight loss. I am in the final weeks of training for the Memphis St.Jude Marathon in December and seem to keep putting on weight as I do my longer runs... just have to keep the calories coming in.

    Take care.
