Who's In For Richmond??

Who's running Richmond (marathon, half, or 8k) on Nov 15?

I've been thinking about it since MCM and the only thing I've decided is that I'm decidedly undecided. Okay, the 8k is out, but the rest is a toss-up.

I would love to run the 8K again. But I'm not gonna. If I run anything it will be in Philly, but thats doubtful.

you need to do Philly- I will be doiing the half and I have not run over 5 miles since the distance run due to coaching volleyball and my sons football. No wonder I cant lose weight.

LOL! Its definitely not that I don't want too! I do. I need to get in to see the Physical Therapist and see what they say.  What ever it is, I'm goign to listen this time. I took my Ortho advice when I did the Historic Half and I wouldn't cahnge that.  My Physical Therapist didn't want me to do that distance yet. I think if I had listened and backed off I wouldn't be plagued with the injuries I still have. Do we know what the time limit is on the half? I'm sure that will play a role in my decision. If its possible to do most of it walking and the PT says its okay, I'm still in. I haven't cancelled my hotel room yet, because I still have some hope.

I'm debating either watching Richmond or running the half. But it all depends on how well my moving goes.

Craig, look on the Southside, I haven't been here long enough to make recommendations, but there are plenty of hotels in Chester (20 minutes) and they aren't too bad.  Let me know if you are coming.  DINNER MAN!  We like to eat and cheer!

I haven't been here long enough to know all the areas.... mostly where we live.  I know you are from up north.  Just let me know I will find us a place to eat.  However many we have.

ps.  I have a good picture of you taken by a short photographer at carpool.....

A good friend of mine used to work at a place called Longstreets, I think it was in Petersburg, but I'm not sure if they would serve anything we want before an event. I've never been there.

I know.  I haven't been, but I do know it was recently visited by one of the presidental canidates.........considering the demographics of Petersburg, I wasn't surprised.  I hear the food is pretty good.
