Does anybody have recommendations for a quality earphone for my iPod? The earbud types don't stay in the ear too well. I have used the nike sport headphones. Does anybody have a good one?

I have the Sony MDR-A34.
You can get a lot of good fit headphones over the counter - the ones that I've found that stay on the best are ones that have a hook that goes over your ear to help hold them on. The absolute best fit and sound quality is going to come from a custom earmold - you can go to an audiologist and have them make a mold of your ear. Starky is a good company to look at - www.starkypro.com
Thank you emgirl.
Those look pretty cool,

Use the noise cancelling earphones that fit snuggly into your ear. I like those...just keep your eyes alert because you won't be able to hear anything!!!!
Hey Mike, I like them OK. I think like all headphones they give out after a while, usually 6-9 months but maybe it's because I'm harsh on them. The sound is great though and they fit snuggly against the ears.
I had the same problem and went to the Apple store and got athletic over the head ear phones...like a headband...It is by Nike and when you go in the store, look in the accessories where all the earphones are and it is in a perfectly square RED box with the NIKE logo....They are like a headband and are for athletic use...No issues with sweat, etc...They are incredibly comfortable...I have worn them for a year in races and never a problem! Love them! They are about $30...
I have a pair of Nike Vapors that I like a lot.
They go behind the ear and they adjust multiple ways so you can make them fit snug.
I got them at Target for $25.
They sound pretty good but I wish there was a little more bass. It could just be my cheap mp3 player though.
I tried Sennheiser MX75 Twist to Fit In-Ear Stereo Sport Headphones about three years ago and I haven't used anything else since. If the twist-to-fit type of headphones are comfortable for you, they're great and they stay in your ears no matter what you are doing.
I don't like the traditional earbuds either. I did however discover the kind that fit in the ears like an ear plug would. I use them on every run and they are great. Once in place they stay there. Got them at Wal-Mart for $14.00.
Mike, I just got these yesterday and they make a huge difference. I really didn't know how bad the sound was with the Ipod earbuds.
They are the Sony Heavy Bass stereo headphones (ear buds). 15.99 from best buy. Major major bass.
Like rattle your fillings loose bass?

Like boom in your cranium heavy bass. Not rattle the trunk bass. Its the treble that sets my teeth on edge. You posted this awhile ago, what did you settle on?
I put a couple of them on my Christmas list. So we will see. Heck, I have bought 5 different pair already so I am willing to try them all until I find the right ones.
I have a pair or Bose ear bud type that are great if you are sitting still.
