Ok, I'll accept your honesty. Many of my Baptist friends tell me Heaven is open to all until I bring up gays at which time I'm informed there are some exclusionary rules and Heaven is limited to heterosexual believers only. But we still pray together at events.

But you could choose to believe me at any time? Not that you would, but you could, by simple choice believe I'm the son of God?

That going to Church is irrelevant as the Church is full of hypocrites. That includes those who evangelize.

It also means that praying in private is as holy or holier than praying in Church. But that's according to Jesus, its not like he's an authority or anything.

I respectfully disagree, but I very much appreciate your consistency....it's honest

Re: Church question
Do you go to church now? No.

Did you used to go to church and now don't? Yes.

Have you never been to church (not including weddings, funerals, etc)? Yes.

The phrase "have you never been to church" is driving me nuts.

I disagree with your premise.

Zealous persecution...demonstration...homicide bombings...these are acts of a violent person, not necessarily a religious person. Perhaps in your mind, being a "true believer" is equated to being violent; but I don't see why those two states would have to be conjoined. Haven't you heard of a rebel without a cause?

(You might as well say r*nning marathons predisposes someone to being a "zealous persecutor"--after all, persecution involves chasing after something, and marathon training, if nothing else, require ZEAL...)

Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

If you, Ray, don't believe the Anti-Christ, could you then simply choose to?
