Check out the emerging players across the country on the basketballpower home page... Any names your disagree with? Curious to know more about? Anyone left off who should be included?
Phil Taylor from Wheeler high school outside of atlanta. He is small (5'9) and doesnt not get alot of attention because of Ari Stewart and Richard Howell, but taylor can play for being so small. He had about 8 dimes per game and he is still a junior. probably wont go big d1 cause of his size but i think he will impress this year.
could be true.. Bit Chicago state has a player 5'8 who is second in the nation right now averaging 27 points a game. Early Boykin was a SI cover boy about 8 years ago.. If there is a will there is a way.
I like it. Cant ever underestimate the small guy. look at Spudd Webb and Mugsy Bouges.
Legend Status
What about Andy Brown from Mater Dei. The Stanford recruit is the third scoring option behind the Wear twins but carried Mater Dei in the state championship last year. He is 6'8 and is a force to be reckon with
Wheres that kid going to school?
Andy Brown is going to Stanford and right now leds the team in scoring with 19 a game. The real player on that Mater Dei team is Gary Franklin as the point guard is the one who runs the show and will be in the spotlight next year when it is his and Tyler Lambs team.
