UCLA had that 88 game win streak from '71-'74. A young Digger Phelps coached the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame to the upset win that ended the streak. Something people might not know is Notre Dame was down 17 at half and was losing 70-59 with 3:30 left to play. The Irish won 71-70.

they also won seven straight titles from '67-'73 and 11 out of 13. those are pretty amazing streaks.

I know this is bball site, But the North Carolina womens soccor team won 169 straight games from '86-'90. That is rediculous.

I also heard of another amzing little streak in the little known sport of Division 3 lacrosse. The Salisbury University Seag Gulls won 69 consecutive games before blowing the streak in the championship just like South Panola.

Slower Lower Delaware

There is a town on the Delaware and Maryland border, A magical town called Delmar - "the town too big for one state".  Get it, Delaware and Maryland combined to one word. Any way, this team is amazing. It is like they are one giant superpower of a team. they are combining kids from two states into one school. Slower Lower meets the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Rated 25th best small town by Farmers Tan Monthly

I have attended a pumkin chunkin spectacle. Its a great time. Pumkins are just sent flying across a field. not to mention plenty of adult beverages
