I do my long run on saturdays, and run an easy 10 miles on sunday. Thats pushing it pretty hard for recovery, what do you do the next day after your longest run of the week?
For some ten miles would be considered a long run. Others might consider it a nice recovery run. How long is your run and at what intensity are you doing it? How much of a base do you have? Does the easy ten feel easy or are you having to push yourself to get through it?
